What kind of Vinyl Cutter should I get?

This is the question I see all the time in the group.

I hope I can help make this an easy decision for you.  :)

I started out with a Cricut Expression, and used Sure-Cuts-a-Lot software.  I was happy until Cricut decided that we can't use a third party software with their machine.  (I create all of my designs)

So, because I already had all the Cricut mats & tools, I decided to go ahead with Cricut Explore.  The Cricut is a good, sturdy machine and if you get the New Maker, the extra tools for sewing I hear, are just awesome!

Cricut cutting area is 11.5 inches by 23.5 inches.

Ok, let's talk about the Silhouette Cameo!  The Silhouette Cameo machine has lots of raging fans!  I've heard nothing but good about this machine... until the last software update.  People are saying to revert back to the previous software (before the update) until they work out all the bugs in the software.

Unlike the Cricut machine, you do not have to be connected to the internet to use the Silhouette machine/software.  In order to download designs from the design store, you will need to be connected to the internet.  You will need the internet connection for Bluetooth Access, however.

The Silhouette Cameo cutting area is much larger than the Cricut as you can cut banners!

So, in comparison of these two machines, I have heard that the designing software for the Silhouette Cameo is for more advanced users and the Cricut Design Space is more for beginners.

With both of these machines, you will find a ton of Youtube help videos.  (Youtube will be your best friend in the beginning)

To sum this all up, if I had known what I know now, I would have gone with USCutter.  There are lots of machines on the market, and if they do what you want them to do, they are worth it.

Here is a search I did on eBay on (6/22/18).  As you can see the USCutter has over 7000 FIVE STAR REVIEWS!!!  OVER 7000!  That should speak for itself.

This is my eBay affiliate link.  Thank you for your support if you choose to purchase through my link. It won't cost you more, but I will get a small commission!  <3  CLICK here to view the search results.

I hope you find this information useful & helpful when trying to decide which machine to buy!!!  I know this can be a daunting task.

P.S.  I'm adding the <Poll Results> from the group shortly.  :)
